Sharon Fisher
Clinical Social WorkerSharon is a Level 2 trained Internal Family Systems therapist and as such, she believes that underneath the noise of the everyday life of her clients, is a wise and compassionate core Self, and that all parts of us have a purpose. Sharon strives to provide a warm, safe, nonjudgmental space in which clients can come and be seen and valued for who they are.
As a therapist, Sharon seeks to move away from the notion of therapist as expert and instead become a trusted guide and collaborator on clients’ journeys of self discovery.
Sharon received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from The George Washington University and her MSW from The Catholic University of America. Sharon holds a certificate in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and has trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. She has been working as a mental health therapist for over 20 years.
