Sara Solomon
LCSW-CSara Solomon, LCSW-C, is a licensed clinical social worker in Maryland who brings years of training in mindfulness-based therapies to her work. Sara helps her clients make real and lasting progress through a combination of mindfulness, behavioral change, and self-compassion. Sara enjoys working with teens and young adults, and she has a special focus working with parents of younger children.
Sara’s diverse training allows her to incorporate a variety of approaches into her practice. These trainings include Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), the Mindfulness-Based Eating Awareness Training Program (MB-EAT), Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions (SPACE) through the Yale Child Study Center, and a level-one trauma certificate from the Ferentz Institute in Baltimore. Previously, Sara worked at the Sheppard Pratt Outpatient Mental Health Center and in its Aspire Program. Sara received her MSW from the Catholic University of America and also holds an M.A. in Communication Management from the University of Southern California.
