Katherine Routenberg

Katherine Routenberg, LCSW-C is a psychotherapist and registered clinical supervisor who joined Willow Oak Therapy Center in the summer of 2023. She earned her masters from Smith College School for Social Work and completed post-graduate fellowships at Yale University. She has been licensed in Connecticut, California and Maryland and has been practicing in a variety of settings with adults, couples, adolescents and families for over 20 years. Katherine draws from a range of modalities and theoretical orientations including psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, strengths based, solution focused, Gottman-based, and emotionally focused therapy. In her practice with adults, couples, and families she focuses on treatment and support for mood problems like anxiety and depression, problems in relationships, illness, loss, challenges with life transitions or stressors, perinatal mental health, support of military families, and communication
challenges.
