Amy Hackman, LMSW graduated in 2006 from the University of Maryland in Baltimore with a Master’s Degree in Social Work. She specializes in treating Anxiety and Depression from childhood through adults. She is also works with clients who have been diagnosed with Dementia, marital problems, parenting, addictions, trauma, eating disorders, grief and end of life concerns, as well as Gender Dysphoria. She enjoys working with clients of all ages and helping them to become empowered to overcome their challenges. She mainly uses techniques such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Psychodynamic theory while focusing on a client centered approach. I look forward to serving you.
